A New Yorker by birth (1937) , and a Chicagoan since 1976, Dick Abrams is a retired physician who has been a street photographer for over 50 years, taking mostly B&W candid shots in countries around the world, including and especially in Nicaragua. All of the photos shown here were taken by available light without flash, using a SONY NEX-7 digital camera and edited in Photoshop and often Snapseed as well. He and his wife have owned Casa Gallo in Granada for 4 years, and reside there for the several winter months each year.
