Granada Hotels
There are many hotels in Granada ranging from luxurious to a hammock between two trees. Different strokes for different folks. You can be next to the park for convenience or in the outlying areas where it is quieter.
Usually breakfast is included in the price. The better hotels provide air conditioning, hot water and WIFI. Do not leave things of value in your room.
Personally I think hotels are rather high priced here in comparison to the states since construction costs and labor are a fraction of most locations. But Granada is the most popular tourist spot in Nicaragua.
Remember that the sales tax here is 15% and normal tipping is 10% and there may be a surcharge for using a credit card. Check to see if all these fees are already included in the price.
One of my favorites is the Casa San Francisco and it is a great place to meet expats. There are too many to keep track of so here are a few. Major ones are shown up front.
